So I substituted the SNL christmas special the other night since 30 Rock was not on. I have to say that the overall rating of this special was good. Having grown up with watching Saturday Night Live with all the greats, Eddie Murphy, Chris Farley, Dan Akroyd, Adam Sandler it is hard for me to try and watch this show sometimes because I am always trying to compare newbies to the greats. I stopped watching SNL basically when I was a sophomore in high school and started partying. And dvr did not come out until what three years ago. I was a little disappointed because it was a bunch of reruns that everyone knows about, and since we been engaged in 30 Rock I was really hoping for a new episode.
